Texas Bank & Trust

Name: Texas Bank & Trust
Location: Lindale, TX
Structural System: Cold-Formed Metal Trusses, Steel Moment Frame

A steel framed structure with cold-formed metal trusses forming the pitched roof. Special attic access areas were formed into the trusses to provide storage and access to mechanical equipment in the attic. Lateral bracing utilized a combination of structural steel moment frames, knee-braced frames, and traditional K-braced frames. All steel framing is concealed in exterior, non-load bearing, light gage steel wall studs designed to support finishes and openings. Structural steel tubes with double-cantilever bottom plates support the double stone walls at the entry tower. Conventional slab on grade foundation with isolated spread footings at the columns.
